About Us
Our non-profit organization works to help the hard-working law enforcement officers in this area obtain the necessary resources not covered in the budget needed to fight crime and make our streets safe.
The Erie County Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. (ECLEF)
The Erie County Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1987 and was formerly known as the Erie County Sheriff’s Foundation, Inc. The Foundation was established to provide support for local law enforcement, leading to a safer Western New York. Our non-profit organization works tirelessly to help the hard-working law enforcement officers in this area obtain the necessary resources not covered in the budget needed to effectively fight crime and make our streets safe.
Every citizen has a stake in protecting and serving our community. By contributing to the Erie County Law Enforcement Foundation, you play a large role in making Western New York a better place to live.
We work to support research studies, training projects, education and skill development to strengthen our police force and other stakeholders in in making our community safe. While the needs of the community expand, the resources for training and equipment do not. Public safety is everyone’s responsibility. That is why we support Erie County law enforcement agencies and our allied stakeholders in education, business, government, not-for-profits, entertainment public transportation and other public-facing operation to make Western New York safe!
